Our Fees
The majority of our fees are results-based, minimising your financial risk.
We do charge a small fee for our Blitz Process – this helps to ensure that all stakeholders buy into the project. For The Blitz process to work, everyone must do their bit.

Nigel is the Managing Director of Infintec (a sister company to MSC R&D), with over forty years’ C level and Chairman experience.

Nigel founded MSC in 1990 with the aim of supporting the innovation of pioneering products and services for technology SMEs. He has developed and delivered solutions across the innovation life cycle – from planning through funding, resourcing and development, to exploitation and exit – and is a leading authority in IP protection and Commercialisation, having developed worldwide sales channels, joint ventures and technology partnerships for a number of major clients, including Microsoft.
Nigel has personally formed two start-up companies in Software Applications, Engineering and Development – becoming market sector leaders before divesting.

After acquiring a Physics B.SC (hons) and AKC from Kings College London, Phil trained at Ernst and Young. Following that, he has worked as a divisional CFO for IBM, later Xyratex, Soco Internal plc, ICO Global plc, Tradition and numerous Angel, VC and PE house backed SMEs in the TMT, Financial Services and Fintech sectors.
He is passionate about innovation in the workplace and works with Boards to release their potential.

He has also applied his marketing expertise to dozens of successful InnovateUK R&D grant projects.
For the last 15 years, Iain has used his experience to support growing tech businesses.

Roger Bramall
Roger is one of the UK’s leading experts at obtaining R&D grant funding for software and high technology-based projects.

He has expert knowledge of SME funding schemes and has formulated over 500 individual grant submissions.
Key programmes worked on include SPUR, SMART, Eureka, Technology Strategy Board, Innovate UK and the European Framework, CRAFT, Brite Euram and H2020.
In parallel with his grant funding work, Roger has spent the last five years working with VCs, managing Technical Due Diligence projects for an increasing number of firms as a critical part of their investment decision-making process.

Huw is a specialist in grants for innovation and commercialisation, providing an expert overview of the innovation funding landscape.

He has worked on numerous Technical Due Diligence and R&D Tax Relief projects over the last decade.
Guillaume is a graduate engineer having received a Diplôme d’Ingénieur (M.Eng) from the Institut supérieur d’électronique de Paris in 1996 and was further awarded a PhD in Computer Sciences by the University of Sheffield in 2003. For the past 20 years, he has been involved with several high growth organisations in various positions, from CTO to managing director.
Guillaume has acted as the principal consultant delivering projects for numerous start-ups and venture capitalist firms.

Dr Derek Marriott

His commercial work has revolved around high-performance computing and 3D computer graphics. Consultancy work has seen him working with the likes of nVidia and AMD and all major computer games publishers as well as other creative industries.
He has set up companies relating to technology in the golf industry and provided research work to several sports clients including Adidas.
Derek is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a Chartered IT Professional. He has an MBA with a particular interest in innovation management and market strategy.
